Visit from Estonians

Oct 9, 2019

In October Tolle Lege welcomed a group of adults and children from a Lutheran school in Estonia. While in Warsaw on a class trip they wanted to learn about Poland’s Protestant minority, so they paid a visit to the institute. Over tea and refreshments, Dr. Bryćko gave a brief talk on important Polish Reformed thinkers like Jan Łaski and Mikołaj Rej, and discussed the long-lasting effects of the successful Counter-Reformation on Polish religious life. Since Tolle Lege exists to serve not only Poland, but all of central-eastern Europe, we at the institute appreciated this time spent with Baltic Protestants.
